Programs & Projects

The Green Team sponsors many recycling opportunities within the school as well as for the community. Students learn what and how to recycle. Specific details about our recycling programs can be found here!

Through this Green Team students learn about the monarch life cycle, the importance of milkweed and the incredible fall migration. In addition, students decorate monarchs to send to students in Mexico in a symbolic migration. Details about each season's symbolic migration can be found here!

The Monarch is a yearly publication created by the Green Team students.

The school property is home to two native pollinator gardens. These gardens serve as learning spaces for the students. Details about the gardens can be found here!

Green Team students learn about issues surrounding food waste and work on initiatives to reduce waste at school and at home. Students learn how to perform food waste audits at home and work on ideas to use food before it becomes waste.
